Real dogs and the people who love them

We're photographing real dog owners and their dogs at home for a human-grade dog food brand. No modeling experience needed, but you and your dog should be comfortable in front of a camera.

Every dog also goes home with a gift bag of food, chews, treats and toys. Apply by Sunday, November 8.

Who we're looking for

• Big dogs tall enough to rest their paws on a kitchen counter, and small dogs you can hold in one arm. All breeds and mixes.
• Dogs who are food motivated and know basic commands: sit, stay, down, come.
• Dogs who are calm around new people, other dogs and camera flashes.
• Owners in the NYC area who are comfortable being photographed with their dog. Photo shoot experience is a plus.
• You bring your own clothes: relaxed, casual, neutral colors.

If booked, owners and dogs sign a release letting the brand use the photos in all media, worldwide and with no end date. Your fee covers that use.

How to apply

1. Fill out the form belowTell us about you and your dog, and add two photos: one of your dog alone and one of you together.
2. Film a short video (30–60 seconds)On your phone, in daylight, no filters. Show us:
   • You and your dog together. Say both your names, your dog's breed and age, and your neighborhood.
   • Sit, stay (hold it for 5 seconds), down and come, using a treat.
   • Food motivation: hold a treat at your chest and let us see your dog focus on it.
   • Your dog eating from a bowl or licking a treat out of your hand.
3. Upload the videoAfter you submit the form, you'll get a button to upload your video. No account needed. Please name the file YourLastName_DogName.

Can't upload? You can paste a link in the form instead (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox or an unlisted YouTube video). Make sure it's set so anyone with the link can view it.
